Risa, a licensed clinical social worker, has been in the mental health field for over 20 years. She works with both teens and adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and major life transitions.

She uses her experience as a psychotherapist and parent to present workshops on neurodiversity to educators and parents.
Before becoming a LCSW, Risa spent 10 years at a financial magazine in New York using her undergraduate degree in business administration and marketing. With her husband of 20 years, she co-founded Synergy Health & Wellness in Jupiter, Florida, where she utilizes both her business experience and psychological services. Believing strongly in the mind-body connection, Risa also became certified in teaching Pilates.
In a compassionate and reassuring environment, Risa provides insight, support and new strategies for all types of life challenges and assists clients in achieving their desired changes. She brings her years of counseling experience and consulting services to Center for Brain.
In her spare time, Risa enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, movies, music and doing Pilates.
