Many children are being given powerful drugs to help them focus or to calm down. Some truly do have ADHD, while others diagnosed with ADHD actually have a learning disability and are reacting with frustration to their academic difficulties. In either case, neurofeedback can help.
Neurofeedback has been proven to greatly reduce or even eliminate symptoms of ADHD and to strengthen neural pathways, resulting in easier learning. Many times, a child who undergoes neurofeedback training can significantly lessen or even stop their medication.
Neurofeedback uses computer technology to teach the brain to work differently, allowing the symptoms of ADHD or learning challenges to be reduced – or even eliminated. Behavioral changes occur because there’s been an actual change in the brain (not just a temporary forced change with medication), and neurofeedback treatment helps to do just that.
At our open house, you’ll get to speak one-on-one with our director, Mike Cohen, an internationally-known leader in the field of neurofeedback and its application to ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavior disorders.
We’ll also have snacks and refreshments. Registration is not required but is certainly appreciated.
