John DeLuca, M.D.
Dr. DeLuca is a board-certified internist and functional medicine physician in North Palm Beach, Florida.
He’s available to Center for Brain Training clients whose brain issues may have physical/metabolic causes that exhibit themselves as psychiatric and/or brain-based conditions. Among the potential causes he looks at are hormone imbalance, mold and other toxic environmental exposure, chronic inflammation and nutritional deficiencies.
While Dr. DeLuca has conventional medical remedies in his toolbox such as prescription medication, when appropriate, he first investigates to determine if there are underlying physical conditions. Oftentimes, once corrected, the psychiatric/brain issues diminish without the need for medication or with less medication.
Dr. DeLuca is a diplomate of the American Board of Physicians and Surgeons, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
He’s a 2005 graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, in 2008.
Prior to attending medical school, Dr. DeLuca was a practicing chiropractic physician. He’s board certified in the areas of pain management, chiropractic sports care, and clinical nutrition. He’s also a member of the Life Extension Foundation Medical Advisory Board and Keiser University’s Advisory Board. He’s an adjunct assistant professor of chiropractic medicine at Keiser University.
In his spare time, Dr. DeLuca likes to practice piano and spend time on the beach.
