Barbara Hollender, Masters in Social Work (MSW), helps in providing ongoing assessment of clients and training at the Center. She has worked with children and adults over the past 30 years. She had a successful psychotherapy practice for 15 years in Connecticut, providing treatment for children, adults and their families. In addition, Ms. Hollender provided services to youth and their families in the juvenile justice system and in the child and family services field. Ms. Hollender is committed to helping our clients achieve their goals for successful Neurofeedback outcomes.

Carolyn Cohen, M.A., has her Masters in Counseling and Masters in Medical Science. She's worked in mental health for a number of years. In the center, she is the administrative manager and helps with ongoing client education.
Dr. Jeffrey Goidel, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist as well as a certified school psychologist in New York and Florida. He offers consultations and strategies, counseling, and full educational and psychological testing.
Dr. Goidel works with adults, teens and children. His experience and knowledge with
schools allow him to be a very valuable resource for parents. He has a unique and disarming ability to cut to the heart of the issues - and to get kids and adults to share. For example, he'll quickly down on the floor with kids or will run outside to explore with them.
With over 20 years professional experience in both public schools and private clinical practice, Dr. Goidel deals with anxiety, depression, social problems, divorce/separation, loss, chronic illness, abuse, family conflict, developmental delays, learning disabilites, ADD/ADHD and giftedness.
He has served as an expert witness in the NY courts and has been a consultant with metropolitan New York agencies involved in foster care, legal aid, autism and mental retardation, hospice care and divorce mediation. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Long Island University-Rockland campus and Monroe College in the Bronx. As a contributor to local cable television and radio stations, Dr Goidel is a recognized name in the northern New York city suburbs
He graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, summa cum laude, and received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional psychology in Los Angeles. He completed his internship training at the Costa Mesa Child Guidance Center and the Northridge Hospital Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Neuropsychology both in California. |
