What does the EEG mean?  How do you “read it”?
Frequency and amplitude basics
Excessive slow & excessive fast activity
What do seizures look like?
What does a normal EEG look like?
How can you tell if it’s EEG or an artifact?
What are frequency bands?
How does someone learn to  change their EEG?

Feedback basics – different types of rewards and inhibits
How do you set up reinforcement schedules (How many beeps)
What is spectral (The dancing bars)

Day 2

Add in:  Guidelines for amplitude
Review effects of yesterday’s sessions, live cases from the class
Learn to “think” Neurofeedback, discuss changes, strategies

Run next feedback sessions
Focus on amplitudes, spectral

Symptom model vs. brain-based model vs. EEG model
How arousal points the way based on symptoms
What is overarousal? What is underarousal?  What is instability?
Detailed review of Symptoms:  sleep, attention, emotions, neurological issues

Lunch.  Optional: Review different equipment, different models, different approaches

Cover symptoms –  attention, emotions, neurological & developmental issues

The impact of training different frequencies and different sites
Practice client intakes with live examples
What is a mini map?  A qEEG-brain map? How are they used?
